Space quantum pioneers
SpeQtral is commercializing technologies developed at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) where our team members have been involved with several world firsts:
- Daylight free-space entanglement distribution and QKD (2009)
- A quantum light source demonstrated in space (2016)
- An entangled photon source in a cubesat (2019)
- Planning entanglement-based QKD with a CubeSat (launching 2022)
